Travel Channel HD confirms launch in Europe

UK based Travel Channel recently confirmed its plans to launch a high definition version in Europe starting from Czech Republic on 15th of November. Operated by UK based Travel Channel International Limited (TCI), Travel Channel is an infotainment channel dedicated to travel across the globe.
Travel Channel is known for offering a truly objective perspective on planning exhilarating travel experiences especially luxury getaways. The new Travel Channel HD schedule will reportedly include a mix of travel guides and documentaries, culinary quests and special interest shows.
Richard Wolfe, the Chief Executive of Travel Channel commented that since Travel Channel showcases the world through a lens, it is a perfect fit for High Definition and HD being the ultimate quality is the future of broadcast.
