‘Salon du Chocolat’, the largest and most popular chocolate extravaganza on the planet was inaugurated on October 27, 2010 in the heart of Hall 5 Porte de Versailles in Paris. One of the most sought after gastronomic events in France, ‘Salon du Chocolat’ celebrates its 16th year with over 400 participants including exhibitors, chocolatiers and cocoa producers.
Fashion designers collaborate with chocolatiers and showcase an alluring variety of chocolicious dresses, shoes, bags and other accessories. Models dressed up in costumes made from real chocolate look extremely scrumptious.
The annual international trade fair that ends on November 1, 2010 features a delectable selection of chocolates from all over the world. This year is being celebrated as the Year of Biodiversity as ‘Salon du Chocolat’ is launching a brand new “Ethic and Choc” concept. The endeavour is to make way for an organic, more delicious and sustainable chocolate.
